SANCHO PANZA WINE BISTRO AND NIGHTCLUB - CABO SAN LUCAS
"Hot can be cool, and cool can be hot, and each can be both. But
hot or cool, man, jazz is jazz." Louis Armstrong
Think about nightlife in Cabo San Lucas and most conjure up
images of loud, booming clubs with people packed in like
sardines and lots of booze poured by equally loud and booming
bartenders. Perfect if you want to get out and go a little bit
nuts. But sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't.
Sometimes what you're ...

The Buddhist Temples in Thailand are simply impressive. This is
particularly true of Wat Doi Suthep, the mountain temple outside
Chang Mai.
Wat Doi Suthep
More or less located on the top of Suthep Mountain, Wat Doi
Suthep is a day trip from the city. You'll notice I didn't write
an "easy" day trip. When the Thais build a mountain temple,
they're serious about the mountain aspect.
Suthep Mountain is large as is the road winding up it. I had
planned to rent a mountain bike and ride up to it ...

Everything seems to be ideal when planning your holidays in
Benidorm and the its surrounding towns. The geographical
location between two mountain ranges gives it its fantastic
climate; over 356 days of sunshine and comfortable temperatures
in winter and beach degrees in summer. Ever since it was taken
over by a wise businessman who saw the unlimited possibilities,
Benidorm has held the winning position in being the most
preferred vacation spot for many singles, retired and families
from all ...

Jetlag is an amazing thing. It's barely after 5 am and I have
already been reading for an hour an a half. So I figured I might
as well use this bout of sleeplessness and record my first
impressions of British Columbia.
My WestJet flight out of Toronto left a 7:15 am yesterday, so
that meant I got up at 4:30 am, after 2.5 hours of sleep, to
check all my luggage, eat a brief breakfast and get myself out
to the airport. Sometimes a little travel savvy goes a long way,
I had decided to use my ...

Two days ago I took the CAT fast ferry from Toronto to Rochester
and arrived well-rested after a 2.5 hour boat ride in the Port
of Rochester, a scenic Rochester suburb called Charlotte. I was
greeted by Patti and Carrie from the Rochester Visitors
Association who had helped me with my itinerary and were kind
enough to show me around.
It had been raining all day and Port Charlotte greeted me with
grey skies and deep-hanging clouds. But the first thing I
noticed as we drove towards downtown ...

You may have been to an all-inclusive beach holiday in the
Caribbean or Mexico. Or perhaps one of the upscale cruises on
smaller luxurious ships where everything including the French
champagne is part of your cruise fare. But have you ever had an
all-inclusive ski holiday? The likelihood is not, unless you are
from Britain and do your skiing in France, Switzerland or
Austria. The 'catered chalet' is a uniquely British institution.
Tour companies rent a chalet from the owner for several ...

King Rama V or King Chulalongkorn (1853 - 1910) was the monarch
who steered Thailand clear of colonization and initiated the
Chakri Reformation to put Thailand on the road to modernization.
King Chulalongkorn was appointed king at the age of fifteen
after the death of his father King Mongkut in 1868. Chao Phraya
Suriyawong acted as regent until the young king was twenty and
old enough to ascend the throne in 1873.
With the benefit of a Thai and western education, King Rama V
was well equipped ...

Owning a timeshare used to mean traveling to the same resort, at
the same time, year after year. No more! That concept of
timeshare is now outdated. Thankfully, timeshares are
increasingly more hip to the needs of today's customers, who
want more flexibility and variety from their vacations.
Whether you want to turn your vacation week into 2 or 3 trips,
visit other resorts throughout the globe, go on boat cruises
through the Caribbean or Alaska, take advantage of numerous
vacation offerings or ...
